Another submission for May homework. Ruth has sent in this lovely pastel painting (on blue paper) entitled "Sunrise at Rise Hill, Orleton". I visited Ruth at Rise Hill many times and the views from there were amazing, although I never managed to get there in time to see a sunrise! Ruth has cleverly added a tree to lead the eye into the sky. Whenever I see other's work in pastel I am always tempted to try them again, the atmospheric effects they obtain are really something. Great work, Ruth.
Eva says well done Ruth, I may get the pastels out. Your geranium plant is prolific and I have potted up a second one.
