Lesley C has sent me this stunning sketch, she says, "I did sit up on Clee Hill last week and had a go at drawing the clouds, my God, you have to work fast! I did three scribbles just to try and catch the mood of the sky". (Speaking to her on the phone she said that by the time she looked down to draw what she had seen in the sky and looked back up the clouds had changed completely.) "This is a quick pastel sketch, done late in the evening, of a thundery looking sky (which sadly brought no rain". I think she most certainly has caught the mood here, but how she managed to do it I cannot imagine.
It is a fantastic piece Lesley. There is a lot of drama in this picture. Well done!
