I have more paintings for your enjoyment, the first are from Lesley M, she says "I'm attaching my latest paintings. They are both of Clematis rooguchi and I really enjoyed doing them. I've just been out to photograph some more so there might be a series of Clematis."

These are really super Lesley and a clematis series sounds good, so keep them coming.
The next is from Larry, he says, "Another ‘plein air’ painting for the blog. This was painted this week at Brampton Bryan Hall, The Harley Estate, Brampton Bryan where the Herefordshire Painting Club were meeting curtesy of the owners Mr and Mrs Edward Harley. I enclose a quote from their website giving a bit of the history of the family.
‘The Estate has been owned by the same family since the Domesday book. It came into the Harley line over 700 years ago when Robert Harley married Margaret de Brampton in 1309.
Over the years the Estate has seen its fair share of national history. During the Civil War the castle at Brampton Bryan was bravely defended by Brilliana Harley who survived the first siege in 1643 and died just as the second siege began. Her grandson was Queen Anne’s First Minister and was created Earl of Oxford and Mortimer. His son in turn was a great bibliophile and his collection of manuscripts was one of the three founding collections of the British Museum.
The Harley property in London was centred on Cavendish Square and several family properties and titles are remembered in London street names such as Harley Street, Oxford Street, Wigmore Street and Wimpole Street.
Lord Byron had a notorious affair with the wife of the 5th Earl and for a short time he rented a house on the Estate from the family. The Oxford title died with the 6th Earl, but the Harley family still owns the Estate.‘The painting is of Harley Castle which is on the estate and right next door to the main house and forms part of their extensive gardens.
It was a very hot and sunny day so I set up under a tree which afforded me shade all day. The only drawback my paintbox became covered in spent blossom, a bit of added texture I suppose."

Another great painting, I am very impressed that you could manage to do a watercolour in the heat we have been having Larry, What a trooper you are!
