An email arrived some time ago, but I have been otherwise involved so I am a bit late posting this (apologies to Larry for the delay) he said, "This is the completed painting that I started at the last LHAG meeting. It is based on a photograph that I took in the Elan Valley of the road bridge at the top of the Garreg-ddu Reservoir with the straining tower of the Penygarreg dam in the distance. I have photographed this scene many times and painted it before but I believe that this is my best attempt so far."

This is fantastic, Larry. A beautiful, luminous watercolour, you are right to be pleased with it, I would be delighted if it was mine!
Very good indeed, especially the rocks.
