Another email today, this time from George, he says; "Many thanks to everybody who has sent me, or is sending me, a Christmas Card. As usual none of my recent work was suitable for the festive season as normally I just print up something done recently as people like to collect them each Christmas (this year it was Rickard’s shop front which sold at the LAS summer exhibition). So attached is a winter scene near where we used to live in Lancashire. I painted this about 20/25 years ago. It is known locally as Brindle Lodge and was done for a Christmas card all those years ago. So having scanned and tweaked it here it is again doing Christmas service on the web as I did not have enough time to get it printed up properly.
Best wishes to everybody for Christmas and the New Year and above all keep and stay safe. Fingers crossed we can all meet up again in 2022 without any lockdown problems and carry on where we left off.
