Another offering for the blog ‘the bridge over the River Arrow at Pembridge’. Based on a photograph that I took from the picnic area as you enter Pembridge from the Shobdon road. Yet again I have overworked some areas so that they have gone muddy in places. More practice at restraint is needed.

Thank you for this Larry and sorry to be rather a long time adding it to the blog. I really like it, especially the pink/lilac tones in the water and I don't see much mud in this one.
Welcome to the Little Hereford Art Group blog
Our meetings are held in the Little Hereford Village Hall every first and third Monday of the month commencing at 10.00 and finishing at around 14.00. Meetings falling on a public or bank holiday are dependent on the number of members wishing to attend. Check this blog or telephone Eva Thomas on 01584 711513 for specific information.
Meetings can be led by a group member or visiting artist but generally members just meet to paint and gain inspiration and ideas from the work of other members. Sometimes we will paint outside in the countryside around the village hall, the beautiful church of St Mary Magdalene or the banks of the River Teme, all within a short walking distance. Burford House Gardens is another local venue and is a very short drive away.
There is no society to join or financial commitment, you just turn up on the day and pay when you arrive (currently £3, including coffee). We have close links to Ludlow Art Society and Orleton Art Group, many are members of more than one, some of all three!
If you would like to add any copies of your recent art work or interesting articles you would like to share, please let me know and I will include them. Similarly if you would like more information about any of the posts on this blog I can be contacted on 0333 011 6238 Jean Simnett
