An email arrived from John yesterday with two photos of his work, he says, "I hope that you both are doing a bit better and a little time for painting.
Horses in oils off a birthday card. Egret in black water colour, repaired in places with gouache. Lots of masking fluid first."

These are great John, thank you for sending them.
Thank you too for your good wishes, I am afraid I haven't managed to do much painting, just an hour and a half trying to do a self prtrait oil sketch that needs a bit more work, and even then I am not sure it will ever appear on the blog!!!
