Meeting Monday 23rd February at the village hall.

An excellent meeting with 10 members attending.  Several had brought along oils, others were using acrylics, watercolour and graphite pencil.  Several had almost completed paintings by the time I left, just before 14.00.  As well as their speed I think that you will agree that their work is also impressive.

Non compulsory homework was set, any medium or style, preferably in keeping with your selected project for the subject "Something from the Greengrocers".  If possible to be completed from life and to be brought to the next meeting with a "self critique" to include at least one thing you are pleased about the work and one thing you would change

    Congrats. A nicely laid out Blog Jean. One suggestion if I may. Could you name the artists showing work please. I recognise Lesley's mushrooms and my own work but I'd love to know who painted the 'boats.'
